Birdwatching is an experience for those who want to discover the Pantanal with an eye for detail. The region's enormous diversity of habitats creates exceptional conditions for hundreds of bird species, from small forest birds to large waterbirds and some of the Pantanal's most emblematic species. The activity takes place at carefully selected locations according to the season, time of day and viewing conditions. Along the way, the guide helps locate and identify species and shares insights into their habits, feeding, reproduction and relationship with the ecosystem. Sounds are also part of the experience. Often, a species is first noticed by its call and only then found among the vegetation.
